…..has it been? too long. I’d be surprised if there is anyone out there at all!
So, the 5 day france trip was so fabulous that im going back tomorrow for another 10 days. The weather here in the uk is disastrous.
Today, i judged the Wiccaweys yearly dog show. Soooooo much love. And i am lovin’ some dog lovin’. It was very difficult to decide the winners, impossible actually. I got extremely muddy and it’ll be a miracle if i didnt get a worm or two, there was some canine kissing. Heaven.
Should have some more news about ASH upon my return and of course there will be the PEDRO ALMODOVAR EP. My artist has already come up with some fabulous ideas including recording one track whilst watching pornographic movies and visiting some local nuns.
Hope you are all well,
Much love,

Just about recovered from the whole “album in a week, theatre workshop” madness.
Am off to France on Wednesday with my buddy Arabella - see pic

she sure does love to accessorise.

On my way up to town to meet with Jack Shepherd (writer of book for ASH) and a theatre director, who shall remain nameless, to talk through how we all felt about the workshop and how we could move forward.
I have my hair in a bun, a small amount of cleavage and have a belly full of porridge. Consider me officially in theatre.

Couldnt write yesterday - couldnt string a sentence together actually. Didn’t get dressed. Ate an entire pizza in my bed. haha. fabulous.
The workshop was a big success. There were a few sound problems, but everything else was great. There was a good turnout, and i got to say hi to some of you orrible lot! Its a drag i didnt get longer actually but it was crazy. Even my dad felt a bit neglected i think!
Jack and i will meet soon to discuss how we go forward.
Id like to say thank you to all of you who came, i felt you guys rooting for me! And a big thank you to Natalie, who designed the programs, she is a one woman whirlwind and if she wasnt married with kids, id marry her myself.
More later…..

So, rehearsals finished. 4 days to do a whole show. It’s a miracle.
I think we’re ready. The band came in yesterday - minus my guitar player who gets back from America tonight and is coming in tomorrow morning to run through. We’re crazy. I’m shattered but in a good way. Was out this morning buying props. Its all go tomorrow. Have to be at the theatre at 10am, working all day and then show at 8pm. I’m looking forward to it but am nervous as hell. It’ll be alright on the night.
Much love,
Wish me luck,

Just finished day 3. The rehearsals are going so well. No big problems at all. Its amazing.
I did only get 3 hours sleep last night after scoring out and finishing the finale song. But what can you do? The lead actress is coming over tonight to go through her numbers. I cannot describe the unbelievable talent of this woman. She blows me away. AND on top of all that, she’s a fucking good laugh.
So, one more day rehearsing, the band are in tomorrow, and then Monday - its all systems go, go, go.

Today was a good day! We all rocked up early and went to a cafe for tea. How British!
The hall was a great space, and we started with a readthrough.
Then onto some scenes, with music. All the actors are really fabulous, and I was thrilled with how it all went. At one point, i got to play a body on an operating table. Which fulfilled a longterm ambition of mine, as you know, i was quite sad that i never got to be a cadaver on CSI. But i would have fallen apart if Gil Grissom had said anything at all about any of my body parts. And giggling corpses - not good.
I might just post a few snippets of the demos from ASH, watch this space.
Did i say that i haven’t written the final song yet? no worries, i have 4 whole days still.
